Over the holidays and through to this month, I have started to search out a few haunts hoping to find deals. Especially video game deals. As I hunted I found a blog article about a place called nomorerack. Nomorerack? Sounds kinky until you drag your mind out of the gutter and note it’s a play on words about not shopping clothing racks.

The site nomorerack.com actually is a neat idea. Instead of overwhelming you with millions of things you may never want they post a few items, different each day. Each item is the genuine article, marked down to low prices and available for only 24 hours (it’s in Eastern Standard Time too so I don’t have to estimate time or anything!) in which new never before seen items show up.

Now the negative Nancy in me wants to get mad that set items are not there but at the same time think about it. If you show up on day and see stuff you hate, you can come back once a day and bam see if anything worth it is there. I’ve seen watches appear there, random around the house tool, even a few accessories that I can see helping me maintain my army of game consoles like that nifty Skil Mini Carabiner Knife:

A tool kit that can latch onto my belt is always nifty. The only downside is stuff at these prices (the shipping is a measly $2 for each item. Dayyuam that’s cheap) tends to sell out quick so getting stuff you want while the getting’s good is smart.

The site also has a neat referral program. Nomorerack WANTS you to refer your friends to them. You can simply send friends a referral link to the site. They click through and bam you gain “friendrack” points. Your friends don’t have to even buy anything, you get rewarded. Every day they have these friendrack deals where instead of spending money, you can use friend points instead! And if that wasn’t great enough, there is always that one item that is basically free. Yes, they offer freebies for purchase.

This site may be a bit of luck on the draw, but mu most awesome purchases were luck on the draw finds. I know I’m gunna stalk this place and see how it shakes out.

Cheap eyeglasses are found nearly everywhere. If you check out department stores or even eyeglasses stores, you can find these cheap eyewear products on the rotating racks. The cheap ones are usually displayed outside where it attracts the attention of customers.

It really depends on your needs. More often than not, cheap plastic glasses can last for a reasonable amount of time. But they usually do not go with the accessories or protective gears that will prevent them from breaking. From experience, these glasses tend to have vulnerable screws. It might also easily break if you carelessly stash it in your bag. There is also the question of protection. Many people question the ability of cheap glasses in protecting the eyes from UV rays. Studies have found out that most cheap eyewear actually contain UV ray proof shields so they work just as well as expensive eyeglasses in protecting your eyes.

There is cheap eyewear that is worth buying. Designer glasses might be out of the question although there are lots of stores that offer them at a reasonable price. You can check out brands like Gant glasses for cheap eyeglasses. You can get a stylish and durable Gant glasses for under fifty bucks or Gant glasses that are a little over fifty dollars.

There are also stores which specialise in cheap branded glasses. They look quite as stylish and the durability is exactly the same but they do not cost quite as much as the branded ones. If you want the same look but not the price, consider getting replicas.

The housing bubble burst killed the growth of the final village in our community. The houses were flying off out the door when things were good but now there are a handful of houses that were started but the building has stopped since many of the buyers just simply backed out. To encourage buyers back into the buying mode they have been giving away a ton of free stuff. When we bought our house everything was extra. The lot had a premium, this had a premium, that had a premium. Now much of those “upgrades” are being given away including your first year of ADT security Florida. All the houses came with a security system but many were not monitored. Now you get your first year free.

The houses are still slow moving but it is nice to see the foreclosures dry up and the neighborhood to clean up a bit. At one point even the established villages had a number of empty houses and the lawns would get over grown. Now we are starting to look like a the nice neighborhood we all bought into.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 27, 2012

BG Medical Technologies (OTC: RIGH) has announced development of a USB-enabled diagnostic support device that will facilitate patients suffering from critical illnesses such as cancer, to match the most effective plant variants for physician-recommended medical marijuana treatments. The device will collect patient data in a non-invasive manner by detecting subtle shifts in the patient?s physiology and then upload encrypted data to HIPAA-compliant servers for further analysis and physician review. Physicians will interact with patients and data history through a bundled video conferencing application. This will offer patients the ability to discreetly pursue medical marijuana treatment from the privacy of their home. For states with telemedicine restrictions, services will be made available for use within physician offices. This system also seeks to improve medical marijuana treatment programs by involving physicians more than once per year to better evaluate treatment effectiveness and applicability.

The diagnostic support system works in tandem with BG Medical?s BudGenius.com laboratory research and ongoing data collection to identify marijuana strains that present the most beneficial ratios of medicinal compounds that are likely to best serve the patient?s needs. Medicine locator services will also be used to locate cannabis strains currently available within the patient?s travel radius. BudGenius services will continue to be expanded with new features to support the diagnostic system development, and will be further enhanced with new technology partnerships. BG Medical has stated that this announcement fulfills another component of their ?natural medicine trifecta?, an empirical data approach to administering natural medical marijuana treatments, as detailed in their product strategy guide.

?While our competitors are seeking to create pharmaceuticals that divide and isolate the helpful compounds in cannabis, we will continue to focus on systems that support treatments with organically developed medicines that are genetically predisposed to treat specific ailments in their natural form,? adds Angel Stanz, CEO. ?In the shadow of a failed healthcare system rife with expensive and toxic treatments, we believe the convergence of nature and Internet technologies will form the future of affordable preventative and curative medicine.?

The USB hardware device is based upon technologies previously authorized by the FDA to enter clinical trials for the determining its effectiveness in breast cancer diagnosis. BG Medical Technologies will seek FDA approval of the final hardware implementation as a diagnostic support device.

About BG Medical Technologies

BG Medical Technologies develops ancillary support services for medical cannabis patients and professionals, including its flagship medical marijuana research laboratory and website portal, BudGenius.com. BG Medical Technologies, Inc. currently trades under the symbol OTC:RIGH. Symbol and name change pending.

About BudGenius.com

BudGenius.com is a social networking website, and leading provider of medical marijuana testing services located in California. In addition to cannabis safety screenings, BudGenius provides a unique rating system to assist patients in selecting marijuana strains more likely to efficiently treat specific medical conditions.

Montgomery, Ala. (PRWEB) February 24, 2012

Alabama Tourism today launched a three year campaign, ?100 Alabama Road Trips? with the release of the first 10 trips. The campaign focuses on driving itineraries that travelers can experience over two or three days. The initial itineraries are now live on the tourism website and each is numbered, http://www.Alabama.travel. Other trips will continue to be added throughout the first year of the campaign.

The first 10 trips include the BCS Championship tour, Eagle watching on Lake Guntersville, a romantic getaway to Mobile, Selma to Montgomery Civil Rights history, spring break at the beach, a walking tour of downtown Birmingham, Huntsville?s Space & Rocket Center, Montgomery?s history tour, bird watching on the coast and the To Kill A Mockingbird tour in Monroeville. A few upcoming trips will include a Girlfriends Getaway on the Eastern Shore, family fun in Sylacauga, golfing in Alabama, music in the Shoals and Gulf Coast adventures.

?Road Trips? is also the theme for the 2012 Vacation Guide. Pages six and seven of the guide provides a sneak peek at the campaign. The cover of the publication is of a 1953 baby blue Cadillac, much like the one Hank Williams owned, parked on a pier at Lake Guntersville. The car will be used as a symbol and logo for the road trips campaign. The Cadillac is in tourism?s television commercials that are currently airing on television stations across the U.S. The car will also be used around the state at events and festivals throughout the three year campaign.

?We wanted to make it easier for travelers to plan their trip so we came up with 100 itineraries. There?s something for everyone,? said tourism director Lee Sentell. ?If you?re planning a trip to the beach, we have an itinerary for that, or a trip to experience the small towns of Alabama, we?ve got that too.?

The 164-page vacation guide provides travelers with information on hotels, restaurants, campgrounds, tourism associations, state parks, golf courses, attractions, trails and museums.

Each region of the state is highlighted and provides articles on the attractions, places to stay and events in the areas. Articles include ?100 Great Alabama Road Trips” on pages 6-7, shopping for treasures in Alabama on page 13, Civil Rights history on pages 14-15, Alabama?s chefs, farms and restaurants on pages 16-25, and golf begins on page 26. Articles on each of the four regions of the state along with things to do begin with the north region on page 37. Each regional article includes a map of the area with the road trip blue Cadillac icon.

Travelers can pick up copies of the vacation guide at each of the eight Alabama Welcome Centers, by calling 1.800.ALABAMA or by requesting online at http://www.alabama.travel. Compass Marketing of Gulf Shores publishes the vacation guide.

This weekend was the NBA All-Star weekend and it was not hard to miss. They started putting up crowd control features throughout the downtown area starting last Wednesday. They expect to have heavy hitters and celebs throughout the Central Florida area and clubs have bumped their covers and have taking out the velvet rope and stanchions and the town feels more like Miami then Orlando.

There was a lot of controversy about the barricades they put up around the Arena. The building is pretty new and it was partly paid by our taxes. Now they have area that are off limits to the common people and is set up to receive and cater to the celebs. People are saying it is our arena and they should be able to access all public areas and the celebs can deal with it or not come. There is no way to win since the celebs and visitors expect this and bring so much money during the event that someone will be unhappy. But will 1 billion in potential spending I do not think it will be the “commoner.”
